The Library currently offers online access to daily issues of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette through the NewsBank news database. However, the publisher has indicated that by the end of 2019, Monday through Saturday print issues will be suspended throughout the state, except for in Northwest Arkansas. While many libraries and individual subscribers are only receiving Sunday issues in print, the UCA Library is still receiving daily print issues at this time. The Arkansas Democrat Gazette is in the process of changing its print publication frequency from daily to Sunday only. As print newspapers are delivered by mail, sometimes current issues are not available until the following business day. These can be found in the Current Periodicals collection on the 2nd floor. If you are looking for current newspapers, the Library subscribes to the Log Cabin Democrat, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, and the New York Times in print.
